Our team approach is focused on friendly, prompt service and offering the best possible timber deals to customers. These driving forces have been the key to our robust growth, and will always contribute to our survival over the years ahead. The company started essentially as just a post producer in 1991 when we dealt directly with farmers and fencing contractors. Over our solid years of growth we have continued to stick to what we do best – outdoor treated timber supply.

To ensure our sustainability in the market we are constantly refining our processes and systems with the customers’ needs in mind. Our product range has also grown –in addition to a wider outdoor timber product range we now stock items such as wire, staples and insulators - vital for the rural/outdoor sector. Buying fencing supplies at Mt. Pokaka is catching on throughout the region, as farmers recognize the benefit of a no-hassle, competitive ‘one-shop’ stop.

Our philosophy is primarily governed by customer needs. Mt. Pokaka’s manufacturing processes are geared for optimum turnaround from order through to delivery. Our strategy is to be the preferred provider of quality timber products for both local and international customers.

Today, staying sharp for Mt. Pokaka is still based on the values we held when the company was launched two decades ago – integrity, innovation and foresight.
